Muharram Mourning Ceremonies being held in Different Countries

"The lovers and adherents of Ahlul Bayt (as) are neither limited to a specific religion nor a country, that's why we set out to organize mourning processions and ceremonies in different countries worldwide for all those who want to mourn for Imam Hussein (as) and his companions who were martyred on the Day of Ashura." Mr Ardakani said.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) -Head of the International Affairs Department at lady Masuma (sa) shrine announced in a press conference that several mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (as) and his companions are being held in different countries worldwide organized by the efforts of the custodian of lady Masuma (sa) Shrine.

 

Kamal Ardakani, head of the department, asserted that these ceremonies are currently being held in countries including the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

 

"The lovers and adherents of Ahlul Bayt (as) are neither limited to a specific religion nor a country, that's why we set out to organize mourning processions and ceremonies in different countries worldwide for all those who want to mourn for Imam Hussein (as) and his companions who were martyred on the Day of Ashura." Mr Ardakani added.

 

He went on, "In addition to the programs predicted by the custodian of Lady Masuma (sa) Shrine to host the foreign pilgrims and Imam Hussein's (as) mourners during the month of Muharram in Qom, the department of international affairs organized several ceremonies abroad in countries such as the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Pakistan as well as in Bangladesh to welcome Ahlubayt's (as) lovers in these countries.

 

Mr Ardakani also added that Muharram mourning ceremonies for non-Iranian pilgrims are being held in Lady Masuma (sa) shrine in different languages including Urdu, Arabic as well as some other foreign languages.
